Hello, fellow horse enthusiasts!
I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the newest addition to the YourHorseFarm.com family. My name is Una Schade, and if I could sum up my life in one word, it would undoubtedly be “horsey.” From my very first word to the present day, horses have been an integral part of my journey.
I took my first steps into the world of horses at the tender age of two, and it seems I’ve been in the saddle ever since. Growing up in Ohio, I embraced the world of hunter/jumpers, weaving through the excitement of competitions and forging a deep connection with these magnificent animals. Little did I know that this early passion would shape the course of my life in more ways than one.
Fast forward to 2007 when I embarked on a new chapter in Colorado. Eager to connect with fellow equestrians in the area, I founded the Colorado Horse Forum. It became a thriving community, a testament to the shared love for horses that brings people together. Through this experience, I realized the power of community and the wealth of knowledge that could be exchanged among horse lovers.
As an adult, my riding journey took a turn towards dressage. I embarked on a remarkable journey with a rescue horse named Fritz, guiding him from Intro A all the way through Prix St. George. This transformative experience solidified my belief in the potential for growth and connection between horses and their riders, regardless of their background.
Outside the arena, I wear different hats professionally. I am a photographer and marketer, using my skills to capture the beauty of horses and share stories that resonate with fellow enthusiasts. In my free time, you’ll find me immersed in creative projects and tending to my boutique dressage breeding farm. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about working around the farm, witnessing the cycle of life, and nurturing the next generation of equine companions.
Now, as I join YourHorseFarm.com, I am overjoyed to share my wealth of knowledge on horse and farm ownership with all of you. Expect fun and informative articles that delve into various aspects of our shared passion. Whether you’re a seasoned equestrian or just starting on this incredible journey, I can’t wait to connect, learn, and grow together.
Thank you for welcoming me into the YourHorseFarm.com community. Here’s to a future filled with shared stories, valuable insights, and the enduring love we all have for our four-legged companions.
. .
Happy riding,
Una Schade
